Jason Arbusto adds his own culinary flare with Daughters and Sons Pizza, adding to a tradition of excellent restaurants in Lynchburg, VA. Located on 5th Street alongside other trendy restaurants and coffee shops, Jason’s unique style brings something new to local pizza places nearby downtown.
After graduating high school at Virginia Episcopal School in Lynchburg he attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York. While absorbing all he could at school he accepted an externship at the 5-star 5-diamond Flagship Ritz-Carlton in Naples.
After 8 years in Europe Jason Arbusto was executive chef in Las Vegas at Restaurant Mix (largest 1 Michelin Star in World, 16th highest-grossing independent in US). Continuing in the tradition of high level challenges Jason recently worked in select amazing properties in the San Francisco Bay area including Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads (Grateful Dead), The Battery Social Club as well as other high profile positions.
He recently moved back home to Lynchburg with his beautiful wife and 2 children where he looks forward to life in a smaller city and bringing a great food focused mindset to the growing and hidden gem of Lynchburg, Virginia. Jason was recently hired as the culinary chef for the Waterstone Pizza and Shoemakers American Grill restaurants in Lynchburg, VA.
